The DB9000-TX Audio Encoder was purchased in December 2014 and was used in a professional broadcast environment from January 2015 until November 2017. The unit had remained in storage since that date.
The unit is sold as seen, and is in complete working order and excellent condition. The unit will also be supplied with the original instruction manual.

The DB9000-TX is a multi-protocol Audio over IP encoder, operating with either analogue or digital audio. The signal compression is performed in real-time, using the HE-AAC or MPEG-1 Layer 3 encoder, and transmitted via a TCP/IP-based network to one or multiple decoders.
To ensure audio transmission without quality loss, the DB9000-TX also supports an uncompressed PCM stream.
The DB9000-TX can act simultaneously as an Icecast-compatible Server, an Icecast source client, or a Real-Time Protocol (RTP) sender.
Via the RS-232 port, the DB9000-TX can be transformed from an Ethernet to a serial Redirector, allowing control of any existing equipment over the Internet.
The DB9000-TX enables the quick integration of existing audio systems with the Internet.
Additionally, the unit can be managed through a standard Web browser and UPnP for easy connection via local area networks.
Android and iOS devices are also supported.
